The Solution

Schirer and his leadership team sought out a solution that could both help build reviews and provide meaningful patient satisfaction insights. To streamline their review management process and improve their online reputation, Cheyenne OBGYN turned to rater8. The Results

In their first year with rater8, Cheyenne OBGYN saw a 1,837% increase in online patient reviews, with 92% of them being 5 stars.

Their overall star rating saw a 33% boost, jumping from a modest 3.62 to an impressive 4.81, helping the clinic stand out across multiple review platforms.

In just 17 months, the organization also experienced greater traction on their Google Business Profiles, with an 81% increase in Google listings views and a 26% increase in calls. This means that prospective patients aren’t just finding Cheyenne OBGYN in search results they’re also taking action to request more information and book appointments.

Beyond Google search results, Cheyenne OBGYN is making a splash with a new patient search behavior trend: Language Learning Models, most notably with ChatGPT’s search query when prompted, “who is the best OBGYN in Cheyenne WY.”

While it’s difficult to directly tie each new patient to an individual review, Schirer recognizes that a polished online reputation plays an important role in staying top-of-mind, especially for those who are more technologically inclined.

“I do think that the younger population moving to our community, they tend to use Google to find new doctors,” he said. “We also get a lot of military folks who come in, and we’ve found that they either learned about us through their resources out on base or they used Google.”

Additionally, consistent review collection and surveying has motivated providers to always bring their best, even on tough days. “What gets measured gets managed,” Schirer noted.

With a refreshed online image, a growing team, and a steady stream of positive patient reviews, Cheyenne OBGYN is well-positioned and primed for an exciting new chapter.
